Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening is suitable for healthy teeth that are stained with coffee, red wine, smoking etc, or teeth that have yellowed or darkened with age.

We offer two ways of whitening your teeth and your dentist can advise you as to which method would be the best for you.

Standard Whitening - with home trays for 3 weeks. This works well for the majority of our patients. Your teeth are lightened at home by application of a tooth-whitening gel to the surfaces for between 2-4 weeks, using custom-made trays. Once whitened, the effect will last 2-4 years depending on how much coffee, red wine etc that you consume, Top-up gel is available to maintain the results.

Whitening Plus - this method uses two types of whitening gel and a slightly different procedure. After home whitening for two weeks we then further whiten your teeth in the dental chair in two 20 minutes applications during a single appointment. This method is particularly recommended for those patient with very dark or dense teeth. A year's supply of top-up gel is included in the price.
