Meet Our Support Team

Our team comprises three dentists, three nurses, four hygienists and five support staff.

The practice has been on this site for many years but became recognisable as today's Katoomba Dental Practice in 1998 when Graham Loader and Chih Liu took over as joint partners with Naveed Jamil joining not long afterwards. Many of the team joined at this time and are still here more than 13 years later.

All three of our dentists are committed to continuing professional development enabling them to keep abreast of changing skills and advances in technology.

Yvonne Beckett

Yvonne - our practice manager joined us in 2004 coming from retail and business management. She enjoys the challenge of a different environment and is keen to ensure that Katoomba continues to offer a first class, courteous and professional service.

She is happy to meet with patients at any time to answer queries or to take suggestions for the practice

Sandy Gregory

Sandy enjoys the role of welcoming and helping our patients and says that she finds the practice to be a very friendly and happy place to work. She job-shares with Elsie working part-time so that she is able to spend her free time with her 4 grandchildren which she loves doing.

Elsie Lowe

Elsie has also been with us for over thirteen years as a part-time receptionist. As Elsie and Sandy job-share, you will usually find one of them ready to greet you.

Elsie has brought a touch of down-to-earth Northern humour to the job which has proved very popular with our clients.

Linda Scott

Linda, our full-time receptionist, has been with us for over thirteen years now. She loves her role of welcoming our clients and knows most of them by name. She takes great pride in the service given by the receptionist team and will go out of her way to help with queries or problems. Linda has had a full smile makeover done at the practice and so has first-hand experience to pass on to clients thinking about similar treatments.

In her spare time Linda likes to see her 4 grandchildren frequently and keeps fit by taking doing Zumba (ask Linda if you want to know!) and aerobics

Suzanne Fogden

Suzanne used to be a full-time nurse at the practice, but since the birth of her two children she has joined the receptionist team on a part-time basis so that she can spend more time with them, although, given her training, you may well find her keeping her hand in by covering for the other nurses during their absence.
