Meet Our Hygienists

Our team comprises three dentists, three nurses, four hygienists and six support staff.

The practice has been on this site for many years but became recognisable as today's Katoomba Dental Practice in 1998 when Graham Loader and Chih Liu took over as joint partners with Naveed Jamil joining not long afterwards. Many of the team joined at this time and are still here more than 12 years later.

All three of our dentists are committed to continuing professional development enabling them to keep abreast of changing skills and advances in technology.

Gayle Espley

Gayle has been with us since 2000 and works for us on Wednesdays. At home she has two young sons who take up much of her spare time’

Katrina Eade

Katrina has had many years experience as a hygienist since graduating in 1986. We welcomed her to our team after Germaine left following the birth of her son.

Michele Manson-Perry

Michele has been with us since 2003 and recently went to Tanzania with the charity ‘Bridge to Aid’ helping to train clinical officers to be able to give emergency dental treatment in their own remote districts.

At home she is kept busy with three young daughters (and a husband).

Joanne Ovenden

Joanne graduated in 2002 from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Dental Medicine and has been with us since then working on Mondays and Tuesdays. She is popular with our patients and gets real satisfaction from the difference she can make to the oral health of her patients’.
